A book of amusing poems that will make you laugh and think. Great for hooking middle schoolers into reading poetry.

Jeremy Fink and The Meaning of Life, by Wendy Mass, who also wrote A Mango-Shaped Space.
A mystery, a quest, a story about friendship -- all in a modern-day typical school/home setting. And FUNNY! -- I chuckled a lot as I read this book. Highly recommended!
